Army National Guard, USA Today to honor Kenwood High School Student: Media invited as student wrestler is first recognized in inspiration project

What: Kenwood High School student and star wrestler Nyonbou “Boo” Farley will be recognized by the Army National Guard and USA Today as the first student honored in the collaborative project “The Inspiration,” which highlights athletes from across the country who have beaten nearly insurmountable odds. Farley came to the United States as a Liberian refugee in 2005, speaking no English and carrying little more than the clothes on his back. He has since become a regional wrestling champion vying for lucrative college scholarships. His story is featured online at http://bit.ly/11hEXXg and in the April 18, 2013, print edition of USA Today. Media are invited to attend as Boo receives his Inspiration plaque today.
