Elementary, middle school students exhibit artwork at The Walters Art Museum

What: In celebration of National Youth Art Month, students from 78 Baltimore County Public Schools elementary and middle schools are exhibiting more than 400 pieces of artwork at The Walters Art Museum. The featured artwork showcases students’ mastery of art techniques in a variety of media. During the exhibition’s reception, student artists will receive certificates for their contributions to the exhibition and an opportunity to participate in studio activities. General admission to the museum is free. When: Exhibition: Wednesday, March 13, 2013, through Sunday, April 7, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.) Reception: Sunday, March 24, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.Where:The Walters Art Museum, 600 N.
