TOWSON, MD. - The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education of Baltimore County will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, and will be held at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Towson.
The Building and Contracts Committee of the Board will meet at approximately 5 p.m. The full Board will meet in open session at approximately 5:30 p.m. to discuss upcoming school board association events, school system and community meetings, and items of interest to Board members. The Board will then move immediately into closed session. The Board will resume its open session at approximately 7 p.m.
The school system is committed to accessible communication with its stakeholders. To that end, the Board of Education meetings are live-streamed and can be viewed on the BCPS Web site (www.bcps.org). The public is welcome to attend all open sessions of the Board.
George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology is located at 938 York Road in Towson, but the York Road entrance to the school is currently closed due to construction. To access the school, visitors must enter from Kenilworth Drive. From York Road, take Bosley Avenue south to Kenilworth Drive. Turn right onto Kenilworth and follow about a third of a mile to the school entrance on the right.
